Terms of service
Effective July 29, 2026.
These terms govern the digital filing and records organization services provided by Jacksiel González Pérez, a sole proprietor with a business address in the Bronx, New York.
1. What the service covers
We provide technical and clerical services: digital file organization, folder structure, file naming, application of retention periods, text recognition over scanned documents, backup configuration and training.
Each service has a fixed scope and a fixed price, stated in writing before we begin. Anything not in the quote is not included.
2. What we do not do
We do not work with immigration documents of any kind.
We do not provide legal, tax, accounting or financial advice, and we do not advise which forms to complete. Nothing we do creates an attorney client relationship.
We do not handle protected health information or files from medical or dental offices, unless a business associate agreement is signed in advance.
We do not work with student, teacher or principal data from schools or school districts.
We do not remove paper from your premises. If you want it destroyed, we coordinate it with a company licensed by the City of New York and bill it with no markup.
If any of these appear in the materials we receive, we may suspend the work and return them at no charge.
3. Ownership of the information
You own and control all records and the information they contain. We act solely as a processor on your behalf and acquire no rights over that data.
We do not use, analyze, sell or disclose your information for any purpose other than providing the service, and we do not train software of any kind with it.
4. What you provide
You provide the access, accounts and materials required, and you represent that you have the right to hand them over.
In digitizing services, the scanning is performed by you or your staff, using the routine we set up. We work on the digital files.
5. Timelines and delivery
Estimated timelines are stated in writing. Delays caused by missing access, missing materials or a lack of response from you are on your side and do not create a refund.
Work is considered delivered when the system is running and the handover session is complete.
6. Liability
Our total liability for any claim related to a service is limited to the amount actually paid for that service.
We are not liable for lost profits or indirect damages.
We recommend keeping your originals until you have verified the delivery. We are not your only copy.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute is submitted to the competent courts of Bronx County.
